  • 07:34 Arrived in Avignon today. Unfortunately not going to be doing any daning as my feet are shrieking at me to stop playing tourist! #
  • 07:36 Also visited the Pont du Gard, a 2000 yr old aqueduct, and a Roman temple in Nimes. #
  • 07:38 Funnily enough with all the Roman stuff we're visiting, it's my Roman sandals that are killing my feet. It's like walking on bruises! #
  • 20:04 Morning! I'm in the town of Orange now, facing a humungous Roman theatre, so big it's impossible to photograph. Must be 5 or 6 storeys high. #

  • 22:58 .@elpie @ksuyin @Miraz @simon_w @Wendywings Thank you all for the travelling wishes. In Singapore now and it is HOT. #

  • 23:02 So, um, it's the middle of the night at home... we get to wait a few hours in which we need to eat something, and then hopefully sleep a bit #
  • 00:00 I get to wait 5 hours in Singapore airport. Someone remind me why I do this to myself? #
  • 03:19 In boarding lounge about to get on the A380 to Paris. If not for first and business classes, they coulkd fit 800 people on this thing! #
  • 03:20 I'm impressed with Singapore airport's facilities - horizontal-ish beds in quiet-ish rest areas. I got three hours of sleep, which is good. #
  • 03:22 Looks like we are almost the last to get on. Good. Less time to be cramped in the sardine seat. Though I hear the A380 is roomier. #
  • 03:23 All right, I better go get on the plane. Internet is plentiful in Singapore, but will it be so in France? Watch this space. Seeya! #

CFRB Tour: Mohamed's Moon

Mohamed's Moon
by Keith Clemons

This month, CFRB presents Mohamed's Moon by Keith Clemons.

About the Book:

Two brothers separated at birth grow up worlds apart. Outwardly, they’re exactly alike, but inwardly, nothing’s the same – one is a devotee of fundamentalist Islam; the other, a Christian. In this modern-day Cain and Abel story, the lines are drawn not just over whose God is right, but also over the fact that they’re both in love with the same girl.

It’s a conflict with grave repercussions, little hope of resolution – and time is running out. In the background, a plan has been set in motion that will bring the United States government to its knees. Will an unexpected visitation reconcile the brothers in time to save the woman they love – and ultimately, themselves – from the coming devastation?

In his award-winning style, author Keith Clemons delivers a profound comparison between Christianity and Islam, a dichotomy of life versus death, love versus hate, and grace versus legalism. Mohamed’s Moon will plunge you into a world where hatred and heinous acts are justified. But if hatred is potent, it pales in comparison to the power of God’s love.

About the Author:

Keith Clemons, a native of Southern California, is an alumnus of California State University – Fullerton where he earned a degree in English literature. He lives with his wife, Kathryn, in Caledon, Ontario, Canada. His four previous novels, Angel in the Alley, If I should Die, These Little Ones and Above the Stars, have accumulated a total of six writing awards.

  • 16:08 Very perturbed - the ice cream truck no longer plays Greensleeves! Still, it says a lot for spring that they're doing the rounds already. #
  • 16:24 The cyborg is called Zenith. She will likely be a major secondary character, don'tya love it when they come at ya out of the blue like that! #

  • 11:31 This is GOOD DAY tweeps! I just got a proof copy of my 1st Splashdown Books release; good feedback on my 2nd; heard of a contest for both. #
  • 12:32 Small Publisher Book of the Year contest? Looks good, but only 1 fiction category, and I'm wary of CBA who runs it. (see next tweet) #
  • 12:32 (continued from prev) What do you say? Worth a try even for spec-fic? bit.ly/ALjeg #
  • 12:46 Wow I think I have been waiting for this! A font in my own scribble! RT: @clairednz: www.fontcapture.com (RT via @antheaw & @rike) #
  • 12:51 @JanetUrsel Yeah, free books are always awesome! That's a very good idea :) #
  • 13:40 @JanetUrsel You may not have started anything just yet, lol. But the old brain cogs are certainly churning! Maybe someday... #
  • 13:43 ok so I found formatting errors in my proof copy, arrgggh! But my flatmate knows how to fix em, so he says. Go Steve! Darn page numbers. #
  • 15:16 Going to pub with mates tonight - Mad Dogs & Englishmen, Link Drive Glenfield if any tweeps are around. From about 7. Quiz night apparently. #
  • 15:27 I have now learned a valuable lesson in section breaks formatt ing for Word and how to unhitch a section from another. Thanks Steve & Andrea! #
  • 16:06 Having solved my formatting dilemma I think I'll turn to video production for what remains of today. 2 hours can accomplish a wee bit yet! #
  • 17:40 Hi @RebeccaMichaels and welcome! How about some spaces in your bio so we can read it without pulling up the HTMLcode? Chat with you later :) #
  • 17:41 So I'm headed to the pub with the pastor. Go Emma! I don't like church anyways. This is gonna be fun. #
  • 22:38 Crumbs, just one shot of baileys -yum yum!- and I'm nicely sozzled, just call me green! we won a prize for last place at the pub quiz, yay! #
  • 22:40 I am now going to bed with my own book in progress. Need a name for my female cyborg underground resistance wonder-girl, any suggestions? #
